SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

The Bachelor of Technology (Hons.) in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering is a program designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of both the fundamental principles of civil engineering and specialized courses in structural engineering. Students in this program typically engage in a variety of subjects including structural analysis, construction materials, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and environmental engineering. Additionally, they undertake courses specifically tailored to structural engineering, such as structural mechanics, structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, and reinforced concrete design. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design, analyze, and manage infrastructure projects, including buildings, bridges, highways, and dams. Graduates can pursue careers as structural engineers, construction project managers, transportation engineers, and infrastructure consultants, among other roles.
